You'll experience sailing on a beautiful old boat into a secluded harbour at the entrance to the South Fiord and a short walk in the Fiordland National Park to one of the Hidden Lakes.
On board you'll be served drinks and a few tasty morsels to go with them. Personal service and attention to detail set this aside from the crowded boat trips in Milford Sound.

Go and see Ata Whenua - a beautiful piece of cinematography showcasing Fiordland places you are unlikely to see otherwise.

This is a real gem. Not only do they show the amazing film "Ata Whenua - Shadow land" , but also they serve really good coffee at lower prices than elsewhere in Te Anau plus they have a bar open in the evenings.
Parks & Nature
You will get a fantastic view of Lake Te Anau, surrounding mountains and the township. It's a full day to walk to the hut and back, but you can shorten the walking time by taking a water taxi across the lake.

Not as crowded as the Fresh Choice, the Four Square supermarket sells very good European-style bread, you can't get anywhere else in Te anau.
