Mount Ainslie is a fun hike with a spectacular view, especially of Parliament House and the Australian War Memorial.

If you haven't been before, this is place I would recommend the most out of any park in the state. It has a 360 view of Canberra which is easy to get lost in. There is a cafe and a shop.
The National Arboretum Canberra is a 250-hectare (618 acre) arboretum in Canberra, the national capital of Australia, created after the area was burned out as a result of the Christmas 2001 and 2003 Canberra bushfires.

Even if you're not necessarily that interested in War, the Australian War Memorial is an amazing Museum with historical objects that will amaze you. And the best part, IT'S FREE!
