Family-friendly trails and also an easy 1-mile hike to Deer Hollow Farm
A great park for all ages, where you can hang out by the play structures, play tennis, book a BBQ pit, kid-friendly bike paths, or just take morning walks on the well-shaded paths. We have enjoyed this park for years!

A small, intimate park around our neighborhood that is always fun for the little ones. It's close but provides lots of fun space for kids to play on the structure, or just kick a ball on the grassy lawn. There are also two tennis courts here as well.

World-famous university that is perfect for a walk or biking around campus to check out the hot bed of Silicon Valley entrepreneurs. You can easily spend a day laying out on the lawn or take a tour around campus, or even check out their own shopping mall - Stanford Shopping Mall.

Local favorite for sushi and authentic Japanese food. We enjoy ordering Omakase (Chef's Choice) because we are always pleasantly surprised by the freshness and quality of the sushi. Go early around 5:30pm if you don't want to wait!

Price friendly, family friendly, and authentic Mexican food. Our family enjoys the burritos, soft tacos, and will splurge on large plates of fajitas when we have a big appetite. Wash it all down with some lemonade!

If you are a boba (pearl tea) fan, there are actually quite a few selections in downtown Mountain View. However, our favorite is Tea Era, which is consistently good with the quality of the boba (pearls).

South Indian fare with very friendly prices. It's all vegetarian but no worries because things are so tasty that you won't miss the meat for just this one meal!

We have also enjoyed Taste Buds very much when we crave for some lamb and chicken dishes. We love the spicy lamb vindaloo and Saag chicken. For families with less adventurous taste buds, stick with the garlic naan and popcorn chicken. They are our favorites too!

Great place to source your Asian grocery needs or some easy, to-go bento items. We like to purchase some sushi rolls or quick bowls to go when we are short on time. However, we also like their shabushabu style beef for those evenings when we crave hot pots.
