safe place to swim for the children, or learn to stand up paddle board, kids also learn to surf here, there's a nice little cafe across the road for breakfast or lunch and there are also bbq facilities to have a cook up. the bay has been recently upgraded and has new toilet and shower amenities and is very popular in summer

If you're into surfing and the swell is up and the wind is down, this is the place to be. good surf and a couple of cafes to cater for brunch after. has just had brand new facilities built to cater for everyone

there's also secret harbour, port Kennedy, and halls head golf clubs nearby.

the name says it all, regularly visited by dolphins but also has an amazing array of food venues to cater for everyone's taste. traditional pub style meals/wine bar/modern Australian cuisine also across the other side of dolphin quay is Oceania bar and grill and even more dining options. dinner in this area is a must

one of the best bakeries around. have won thousands of pie competitions and there's always a pie for almost anyone. Also do good cakes and pastries and the rolls are pretty good value

If you can get a boat for a day then cruising the estuary into the Murray river and pulling up at the ravenswood hotel jetty and having lunch at this historic hotel is a great way to spend a day, even better set some crab nets out on the way, have lunch and pull the nets in on the way back and you might have one of the tastiest lunches and dinners mandurah can offer
