Sightseeing
One of the main attractions in Tampa. In the cooler months, go early to the bridge by Ulele and Armature works for a manatee sighting. Although it is in an urban setting, you can see also other wildlife such as dolphins, rays, otters, wading birds, pelicans, ospreys, cormorants, Anhingas and even the occasional bald eagle!! It starts at Armature Works (only 0.3 miles away) and runs 2.5 miles along the river and the bay all the way to Amelie Arena where the Lightning play. There's no better way of getting to a hockey game than to bike to it!!! You can walk or rent bikes/scooters.

You can rent electric boats there (fits 8-10 people) and be a captain for a few hours and navigate the river and the bay!!

It has over 15 places to eat and drink - from the casual food hall concept to high end dining such at Steelback (great steaks and veggie sides), Oak & Ola (more European inspired fare) to the swanky roof top bar MBird (great for drinks).

The quintessential neighborhood pizza and beer joint. Garlic wings are a solid choice as well :)
It’s tiny but about as locals only as it gets. Very friendly vibe.

They have the largest private wine collection in the US! Tell them it’s your first time and go on the tour. And don’t skip the trip up to the dessert room it’s my favorite part. Stunning interior design. This is a see and be seen place. I’ve only walked by - never eaten there. Could be good for a nice happy hour. They do have a dress code and it does say no shorts even in Florida summer. Located in Hyde park village.
