Very modern and nice newly opened restaurant (June 2016), with their own local brewery right inside the restaurant! Small but very nice menu - and an eminent wine and beer selection. If you don't wan't the whole restaurant experience, visit their "supermarket" next door and bring their wine and a bag of home made chips to a nearby park.

You can eat at the spot or get the burgers to go in a nice little bag and bring them to a bench overviewing the lakes.

Best Mexican food in the city!! Very authentic (and yes, I've been to Mexico)...great drinks, beer and traditional Mexican soda's to go with the food too.

The vibe is really cozy and the desserts are to die for. Especially the meringue!!

They have great coffee and matcha too. And the interior is worth a visit in itself...very classy and down to earth at the same time.
Bonus info! The guy who runs this place also owns "Apollo Bar" (recommended in combination with visiting the Charlottenborg Museum.)

"Kødbyens Mad & Marked" is the name of a steet food market that runs all summer in the Meatpacking district (in the Vesterbro Area). Loads of delicious food and drinks! Definitely worth a visit - especially if the sun is out.

Rosenborg Castle Gardens (The King's Garden) is the oldest and most visited park in central Copenhagen. My favorite museum in Denmark. Located about an hour out of the city - but definitely worth the trip (depending on the exhibition of course). They also have a cafe overlooking the ocean - very pretty, but not out of this world cuisine though.
