Very casual/informal mexican restaurant just a 5-minute walk from our house. Delicious food, reasonable prices and not fancy at all. Great for lunch or dinner. Only thing is that they have become so popular that there's usually a line up.

This is a lovely little cafe that is not far from ur house. About a 15-minute bike ride or 5-minute drive. It is located in a neighbourhood (not on any busy streets) and has lovely beverages, and is a great place to get a crepe, fresh baked items or some locally crafted cheeses or nibbles. It is a very lovely spot morning, during the day and into the evening too.

Many great hiking trails that are well marked, actively used and there is even a free suspension bridge to cross. Great outdoor experience for anyone visiting our city. It is about a 30-minute drive from our home.

The UBC Endowment lands is a 30-minute drive directly west of our home. It is a huge forested areas full of trails to walk or bike and it surrounds the University of British Columbia. It is a wonderful outdoor experience within our city and both tourists and local use it actively.
