This is where you get the train to go to Cascais and the other beaches on this side of the river, or the boat to cross it. Get a ferry at sunset and have dinner on the other side. Romance guaranteed.

Everybody knows Brasileira because of Fernando Pessoa, but in Rossio you will find another Café that you can't miss. The interior design is Art Deco. It's my favourite Café in Lisbon.

Next to Santa Apolónia and Alfama there is this small tavern where you can eat typical Portuguese dishes in small quantities so that you can try more than one. The quality is super and not overpriced.

Eat at the bar or at the table. It's not fast food, it's fast served food. Have a "prego", or a "bifana", or a "bitoke", or a "filete de pescada" or a "filete de bacalhau", or a "rissol" or a ... Everything is cheap and good.

Big quantities and cheap price. That how we like to eat. Remember that 1 dose is for 2 persons and 1/2 a dose is for 1.

If you want to go to the beach on the other side of the river this is where you get the 153 Bus.
In Costa da Caparica you can get the small train that does the coast. The gay beach is the 19 stop. If you are more into surf and surfers there are other beaches. Waikiki is one of them.

It's "my" bar. I used to work there some years ago and it's where i meet my friends. It's a lesbian-owned bar with a gay and mixed crowd. You can smoke inside and the music is perfect for a little dancing.

Beautiful quite square with bars and restaurants. It's very nice for a fresh stop. And from here you can go to teh to of Elevador de Santa Justa without making the lines down in Baixa.

One of the best sunsets in the world.
After the fire, only the ceiling was rebuilt. You have to see the result. it is absolutely beautiful.

After it was transformed in a living, business, shopping, cultural area. the greatest thing is that there is a lot of cars free areas. Perfect for a walk in a sunny day.
