Only 2 miles away, you definitely have to stand on the Gorge Bridge and feel it shake when trucks drive over. Looking 800 feet down while that happens is optional! There is also an endless trail next to the gorge for walking or biking. You can't get lost.

The oldest inhabited buildings in the US at 1000 years by the oldest culture here. Make sure they're not closed. Open for some celebrations to the public like San Geronimo Day on September 30, Christmas Eve bonfires.

There are hot springs near the bridge on the west side at the bend in the road going up (you will see no more than 3 -4 cars parked there because that's all that fits!

A tough mountain even if you're an expert, and cold, because it faces north, but there are plenty of green runs and good hot chocolate in the lodge if you just want to be a ski bunny!
