For when you crave the ultimate comfort food: pizza! The place is run by a group of young Italians who clearly know what they are doing. The pizza dough is crispy, tasty, and yeast free.

A traditional - and possibly the best - Portuguese grilled chicken restaurant in town. Friendly staff, amazing food and a very reasonable price tag. Try "arroz à brasileira" (white rice with pieces of chicken liver), chips, and "esparregado" (cream of spinach) to go with your chicken.

Probably the most popular seafood place in the country made famous internationally by Anthony Bourdain after a stop over in Lisbon. A hot tourist spot with some waiting time, but totally worth it!

Traditional local restaurant craved by locals and expats. On a sunny day, leave the apartment at about 11am for a nice walk along the river Tagus towards the restaurant. It takes about 1h30mins. Amazing place for a grilled fish (linguado, sardines, carapaus) and black pork.
