Here are a few of my favorite spots to go for food in town. I never recommend a place if there food isn't top notch. There is a little bit of everything for your visit, breakfast, dinner, desert! Enjoy and let me know what you liked.
The doughnuts are the best and they are a quick 12 minute walk from the house if you enjoy taking walks.

My favorite breakfast spot in town. Go early, though they do have text notification where you can check in then walk around the local area and get notified prior to your table being ready. The pancakes are the best!

This place is INCREDIBLE. The scenery the food and the views of Little Italy are awesome. Get the soufflé pancakes there AMAZING!

This place is incredible and one of my absolute favorite dinner spots to go to. Call for reservations and order the squash blossoms they are to die for.

If you make it to another suggestion Morning Glory you will see resemblances from there in Born and Raised. Classic place to go on a date with an interior that you can appreciate while the food is mouth watering. I love to go here and it most recently was the place of choice for my partners birthday!

Best Cupcakes in town. The friendliest staff. Christopher the owner is awesome and a good friend of mine. When ever I need a satisfying desert (I love sweets) I always stop here.

The single serving cakes are awesome! Look for parking on the street though it can be difficult. I always recommend just taking an Uber or Lyft anytime going downtown and even practice this myself. It's much easier and hassle free.

This place is fantastic. The decor is taken from an old church in Mexico and the food is unique and taste incredible.

While staying in an Airbnb you still get to enjoy the luxuries of the best hotel bar in town. The hotel bar is a fantastic casual place to enjoy a drink with friends and a must see.

I love this place if you look around there are great valet spots or just parking a few blocks away then walking into the heart of the Village for eating, shopping and just hanging out!

North park is an up and coming hip spot to party late and or walk around shop and eat. With a large number of breweries and a relaxed vibe I find myself recommending this area over downtown San Diego for there great nightlife.

Sightseeing
These are some great spaces that you may miss over if just traveling on your own or coming to San Diego for the first time. They are definitely tourist destinations but places I love to visit regularly.
Beautiful walks and gardens to view. Friendly people and some great outdoor restaurants, tap rooms and café.

This place is right on the water with great fun little niche shopping spots. I love the hot sauce stand. Parking is available for a $8 per hour or part therof or you could just take an $8 to $12 Uber there and back and it would be less hassle.
