Hunter Valley is a great day out. Stunning scenery and about a 40 minute drive. Visit the wineries, beautiful restaurants, cafes & of course the chocolate factory! Hunter Valley Gardens has several quirky shops and there is family fun with Aqua Golf. A great day out for all!

Lots of walks from easy to hard. The tourist info at Gloucester are very helpful at finding the best walk for your level of expertise and what you want to see / do.

Climb the relatively easy walk up to the top of Tomaree Heads (half hour) for stunning views of the Port Stephen's coastline. Look down on Zenith Beach (secret spot) which is surely one of the most beautiful beaches in Oz. Access to beach is not signposted but you will figure out how to get there from top of Tomaree.
