The famous Notch has lots of trails and off road parking throughout the 2-miles of hairpin turns. Bring good hiking shoes- things can get slippery, and as anywhere you go outdoors, your bug spray or protective clothing.

If your in for an energetic hike with super rewarding views at the top of Mt. Mansfield, this is it. Definitely a “bucket list” hike that is not super strenuous, but you should be in some physical shape. (Don’t recommend for kiddos).

Local covered bridge goes over the Brewster River- and there’s great easy hiking and a parking lot. Wear sensible shoes or hiking style sandals; even a swimsuit for a “refreshing” dip. This is very easy, scenic, and not strenuous at all.
