Hidden behind a barber shop's facade reminiscent of prohibition days, you'll probably walk past it a couple of times before finding it. Great cocktails and a cool location. Definitely worth a visit.

The best afternoon tea in Edinburgh. Probably the most expensive but the surroundings are luxurious and often there's a harpist on the balcony. Best way to spend a rainy afternoon.

Well worth the trip after a hike up Arthur's Seat. Nice, old fashioned pub in a small village, feels like you're in the middle of no where. I feel like I'm on holiday here. Good food and drinks.

Local nature reserve which takes you up behind the zoo. You can spot the zebras and deer as well as amazing views of the city and the Firth of Forth. Worth the short hike uphill.
