One of my favourite museums in London because of the garden, the William Morris designed tea room (by the café) and the interesting range of exhibits which are mostly free. If you are interested in art, design, fashion, architecture and photography as well as ceramics this is a must place to visit.

An unusual and unique house which at times has interesting exhibitions too. Worth the entrance fee.

Has been open for years and consistently serves great food. A great place for breakfast, brunch or lunch. Gets busy on sunny days especially on Saturdays

A great place to have real home cooked Sicilian food (Panella), not a chain and the couple who run it are lovely. Support local, independent places with character!

There are many Italian restaurants on Portobello road but this one is my favourite. The food has always been so delicious and the service very friendly. Relaxed atmosphere

Joined with the gardens is a small wildlife garden which is a great escape if you like nature. Right next to the canal so it's worth a walk along there too, to see some of the interesting house boats
