The cardboard cathedral is made out of recycled cardboard and is worth a visit. It is free. The white chairs are a memorial and represent those who were sadly lost in the 2012 Christchurch earthquakes.

Lovely to walk around, see the earthquake damaged cathedral, street art, statues and monumants. then you can head to the new Cardboard cathedral.
