If you like cats... this is the place for you. Enjoy a hot cup of coffee while cuddling with some adorable kitties. All the felines are adoptable, so don't spend too much time here or you'll end up taking one home!

Cheap and *delicious* burgers and fries. My favourite is the portobello mushroom with avocado. Their meet is all free-range. Arguably the best fries in town.

Trail is meticulously maintained, with wooden boardwalks and stairs in some places. This trail can get pretty busy during "peak times" on weekends; I'd aim to go early in the morning or late afternoon.
Another trail in Gatineau Park, but this one ends at Lusk Cave, where you can explore/swim in the marble cave. Highly suggest you bring a headlamp and water shoes!

Ottawa's Tulip Festival runs here from May 11-21st. The tulips are a yearly gift from the royal Dutch family after a birthing favour from forever ago. They also have other fun things set up, like food trucks, live art and music.

The most relaxing place on earth. It's about a 25 min drive from here, but worth every minute. An outdoor spa overlooking the Gatineau hills, with varied temperature pools and saunas. It gets very busy after 100PM, so I recommend getting there early. This is great for every weather - winter and rainy days included!
