Drive up to Mt. Edith Cavell. From the parking lot you can chose the trail to the Angel Glacier viewpoint or a more rigorous hike up into the Cavell Meadows.

Great views from the upper terminal. You can also take a short but steep hike up to the Whistlers summit for 360 degree view. Note: if you can’t see the upper terminal from town because it is in cloud, then it’s not worth the trip because you will not see anything but cloud from up there.
