Only 10 minute walk away, very good thai food with no frills! it's a small place with just a few tables but the staff are very friendly. Its not fancy, but the food is worth it and not too expensive. You can always call ahead for takeaway also.

only about 15 minute walk from our house through parkland, you can get onto the canal from here and walk all the way along the canal to hackney Wick and the Olympic Park stadium if you feel energetic, lovely scenic walking route. Would need a full day for this.

Great for a long days walk in nature, as you can walk around the reservoirs and marshes, it's hard to believe your still in London! it's about 30 minutes walk along a nice walking route to get there from our house.
