Short walk from our house. It's an old home revamped to be a restaurant. Upscaled dining upstairs, and there's a super cool brick walled bar in the basement - awesome for a cozy drink close to home!

Super cool spot with great food, and definitely gets packed later in the evening with a hip crowd. Great for drinks and experiencing a bit of the nightlife.

OAK BLUFFS RESTAURANTS
15/20 minute drive from Edgartown. Oak Bluffs is another popular Martha's Vineyard town with a different personality and is noted for its "gingerbread cottages" and other well-preserved mid- to late-nineteenth-century buildings. It's definitely worth a visit!

MARTHA'S VINEYARD ACTIVITIES
The best beaches, things to do + sights!
Take a drive "up island" - I would recommend getting in the car to explore Chilmark, the Gayhead lighthouse and Menemsha. The drive is so gorgeous!!

Gayhead Beach has the most stunning clay cliffs. It's a drive, but really worth it!

South Beach in Edgartown is the island's most popular beach... bigger waves, but gorgeous and packed in the height of summer! It's an easy drive, or bike ride from our home through Katama.

State Beach is another option, kid/family friendly because there are no waves. It's a long stretch of beach between Edgartown & Oak Bluffs, also a short drive or bike ride from our home.

I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND going up to Menemsha to watch the sunset, if the weather permits. Give yourself enough time to get a steamed lobster & other seafood from Larsen's Fish Market (it's right at the beach and they cook everything to order), bring some beach towels, beach chairs, a bottle (or two of wine) and setup shop on the sand. The house has towels + chairs for your use!

The house has towels + chairs for your use!
