This is an authentic Turkish bakery that stone grinds local grains for its fare. This is the first restaurant that we fell in love with when we moved to Richmond a couple of years ago.

So you'll definitely wait in line for this place, pretty much any time they are open since this is a relatively new spot. It is most certainly worth the wait. Get cocktails at the bar or visit one of the many nearby establishments. They do a text message waitlist.

All of the sandwiches in this place are named after U.S. presidents. The pimento cheese fries are to die for. I wouldn't put this place on the "healthy" list, but they do accommodate special dietary requirements.

Don't even think about going to the Olive Garden. Richmond is home to over 500 independently owned restaurants. You likely won't be in town long enough to try all of them, so we've narrowed it down to a few you cannot go wrong with.
The chef from this place is a real food hero. I have never tasted food with such a distinct variety of flavors in a single dish. Literally, everything I have tried on this menu is to die for. The mixologists behind can whip up a delectable cocktail as well.
