Things to do
Glasgow offers a lot of museums, parks, arts, and activities and it is easy to go on day trips. We will only list our favorites.
This is a fun museum, also for kids. Only 16 minutes walk from our place. Don't skip the tall ship, it is definitely worth a visit.

A fun place, not the least for kids but certainly for adults too. Free access, but you pay a fair amount for special experiences. The Planetarium is really worth it.

In the summer you will see her sailing by our living room window. If you like seeing her from the outside you should cruise Clyde. You will probably have a great day. At least we love it.

Glasgow has many parks but this is the one we like the most. 20-25 min walk from home. Don't miss the fossil grove, it is something that you don't find in other cites.

Whether you like a long day of hiking or prefer short, easy nature walks, you should consider a trip to Loch Lomond. It is easy to get to Balloch by train that stops right by the visitor's center. These are our favourites but there are many other supermarkets nearby, such as Sainsbury's, Tesco, Marks & Spencer's and more.

They have an excellent bakery and the prices are good. If you like pastry, try the pecan braids. We put them in the oven on 200 `C for 5 minutes. You won't find them better in any coffee shop.
