Huntington State Park is a nature lovers paradise! Walk along the quiet trails and observe the wildlife (you may be lucky enough to spot a bald eagle!), soak up the sun on the undeveloped beach, and explore the history behind Atalaya Castle. We have an annual pass you may borrow that will grant you complimentary access to the Park (the Atalaya Castle tour is at an additional cost). A local favorite - you will love this ‘hidden’ treasure!

There are a number of events and festivities here throughout the year and it’s less than a mile from the house!

Check out the view from a helicopter! There are a variety of tours (length, heading north or south, etc) and the cost starts as low as $20 - but it’s worth going for the longer tours if you want to see Myrtle Beach from above!
