Tarpon Springs has the best Greek food I've had outside of Greece and Mama Maria's is the BEST. It is so authentic and tasty. I highly recommend a day trip to Tarpon Springs to walk around the sponge docks, drink Greek coffee and eat baklava, go to the markets, and have some lunch at Mama Maria's.

The Original Mama Maria's Greek Cuisine

I highly recommend a day trip to Tarpon Springs to walk around the sponge docks, drink Greek coffee and eat baklava, go to the markets, and have some lunch at Mama Maria's.
Thing An has the best and most authentic Vietnamese food and is super reasonably priced! We spent a month in Vietnam so LOVE good Vietnamese food. They even have a Vietnamese/French bakery. I suggest ordering #36.

Clearwater Beach was voted the best beach in America in 2018 by TripAdvisor - it is 25-30 minutes drive depending on traffic and it is truly glorious.

Big Cat Rescue is really close to our house. This is a great tour to organise when it isn't too hot (i.e. not right in the middle of the afternoon on summer) because it's about an hour walking tour seeing everything the rescue does. It's a little pricey, maybe $35 but definitely worth it and it's a rescue so it goes to a really good cause.
