One of the best coffee shops on the east coast. I think they won best coffeehouse of the east coast in 2013. Their espresso's are great.

New Orleans style restaurant.Great to swing by and grab a few drinks outside. They don't take reservations. It's a Black's family restaurant, which in is synonymous with encroyable.

Best Chinese food in DC (It seems like the food isn't always as great when they deliver it though). There's another Chinese place worth eating at called Panda Gourmet, but it's not close.
