He’ll advice you on what’s seasonal and how to cook it and there’s plenty of treats and nibbles to enjoy whilst your preparing supper. He stocks the tastiest taramasalata and beetroot pate.

Stunning location, beautiful house and grounds. Head off across the moor from the Hayloft and work up an appetite on stroll up a Tor. In the Summer we recommend lunch on the terrace with the backdrop of the river and the valley. Or perhaps an afternoon tea?

One of our favourite National Trust properties in the area. Stunning coastal location with garden that slope to the sea, the house itself has beautiful Art Deco features. Worth a visit.
