Take a drive out to the coast. It's simply stunning! It's about 15 miles from our home, and usually takes about 30 minutes to get there. The (mostly) two lane road has beautiful scenery of the Russian River below, the ocean and Redwoods soaring above!

Monte Rio Beach is a public beach and is located 5 miles from our home, or approximately a 10-15 minute drive. This small town has lots of local charm and is a wonderful community!

This is a wonderful public beach, located just under one mile from our home. You can kayak, walk or drive to enjoy the many amenities provided, including kayak, canoe, peddle boat, beach chair and umbrella rentals.
