Another stunning waterfront cafe and restaurant. Very informal. But great food and views out over the South Coast of Wellington at Lyall Bay. Sit outside if it's sunny and watch the surfers. The beach is right across the road to go for a walk after breakfast or lunch.

Not only is this Wellington's most quaint boutique cinema. It is also the most delicious coffee shop, cafe, and restaurant and place to get drinks. Gelato in the day, and epic burgers for dinner. You don't have to go to a film to enjoy this cool spot.

Head to Westpac Stadium to catch a live game. Rugby during the Autumn and Winter months (March-Sept). There are often events at the stadium too. Keep an eye out online for upcoming events

This is where the bus stops. Get off the bus and walk across the road to the Empire Cinema and walk down the right-hand side of Mersey Street to Derwent Street. Our place is on the far side of Derwent Street only four houses up on the right.

Wellington Botanic Garden. The Rose Garden's are stunning. Plenty of great walks through the gardens. Take the Cable Car from Lambton Quay up to the top of the gardens and weave your way back down through the gardens back into town.

Wellington's best beach. It's a man-made beach. Tonnes of white sand was shipped up from the Abel Tasman National Park to create this beach. In summer time it's the place to be. Always buzzing with people. Swim out to the platform or chill out on the beach. Or just stroll around Oriental Parade to soak in the scene if sitting on the beach isn't your thing. Heaps of places to get coffee and food around here too.

Catch the Cable Car from Lambton Quay in the centre of town up to Kelburn. 180 degree views of Wellington City and harbour from the top. You can then walk your way down through Wellington Botanic Garden all the way back into town.
