Parks & Nature

Beautiful stately home and English Gardens. You need a car to get here, but if you want a day out in nature and to run around, or visit the beautiful stately home or have freshly made cake or ice cream this is a good family day out. You pay for the car park but entrance into the main areas are free. You can pay more to visit the petting farm, the state home but it is well worth visiting.

Sightseeing

Within the tallest building in Manchester (Hilton Hotel, Deansgate), on the 23rd floor there is an incredible bar named Cloud 23 which gives iconic views of Manchester. On a clear day you can see for miles. Beautiful at sunset. They do food, I recommend the afternoon tea (English sandwiches and cake to share). Great experience
