It is a typical friendly village pub just 5 minutes walk away which also serves home cooked food at reasonable prices with dogs welcome in the garden too. Now serving Thai food which we haven't tried yet.

A good selection of independent shops selling quality products like a deli/bakery/coffee place, a family butchers, a chemist, a kitchen shop, a lighting shop, an antiques shop and more. Also a Co-op supermarket open early and closing late.

Getting Around
This is where the Oxford Tube, a fast coach to London stops every 15 minutes or so. Also less frequent coaches to London Gatwick and London Heathrow Airports.
However its then a taxi ride .
