Great value for price! Try the tempura maki - 12 pieces for as little as 60 kr. Located on the edge of lovely Sofienberg park. Perfect for a day in the park, or a late night snack.

Shop on Youngstorget that sells authentic donuts! Quality handbrewed coffee and incredible donuts. Nowhere to sit though, so I recommend grabbing donuts here than going across the street to Kulturhuset where you can buy a coffee, sit down, and enjoy your treat.

Our favorite place to bathe in the summer. High docks where you can sunbathe and jump into the Oslo fjord. Not super crowded and located in one of Oslo's most upperclass neighborhoods, at the end of Aker Brygge.

Large lake surrounded by walking trails. Great place to bathe or go for a walk! Always bustling with families and people out for a run. Easily accessible with the subway (line 5 Sognsvann).
