Street Food Cinema shows wonderful movies at several outdoor locations across Los Angeles. We love the Pasadena screenings, where you watch a movie under the stars and indulge in food from several food trucks. BYOB and your own blankets, or rent chairs at the location, and it's heavenly.

Bowling in a recently refurbished bowling alley around since the days of prohibition? YES PLEASE! Great bar, great food, great bowling. Family friendly, but cool enough for all ages. Truly special experience.

Fancy. That's the word that comes to mind. Sit in recliners, order delicious food and drinks, and watch the latest movie. This is movie-going that feels ridiculously opulent... and it costs. Average $30 a ticket. BUT-- if there's a movie you're dying to see and want to see it while being spoiled, this is your place.

Delicious and healthy, this is a wonderful lunch spot with several vegan options. They recently added a small, thoughtful beer and wine list. A five minute walk from our house.

Delicious food and big portions-- this is our go-to brunch spot. Family owned and operated, it has the "nicest restaurant in a small town" feel. Their french fries and grilled sandwiches make skinny jeans impossible.

It's the best mexican food I've ever eaten. The duck taco is what people come here seeking, but truly everything is amazing. It's pricier than average, but worth it. Veggie options, too. Their daily juice varies and can be anything from watermelon-rosemary to mango. And their mole fries are INSANE.

Cute, hip, modern coffee shop with some interesting morning bites. Dog bowl out front that's always filled with fresh water. After a long walk on Hill Drive, I'll stop in for their delicious cold brew. I think it's the best coffee in ER.
