Very "Texas" themed with cowhide couches and live music that is typically Texas Country. The Driskell is historic and very expensive to stay in the the bar is open to everyone. Go in to the lobby and up the stairs. :) Their 1886 Cafe on 6th St. is also great for breakfast!

Stroll down Congress Avenue to shop for trinkets or stop by CVS for essentials. (Ana's Mart is also right in the building for essentials!) Make sure to turn ans face north during your stroll for a gorgeous view of the Capitol!

Right in the building so you can go grab wine in your pajamas! Haha. They have typical convenience store items (wine, beer, soda, snacks, ATM) and the owners are very nice. Open until midnight most nights.
