This is my go to coffee shop to get work done and enjoy delicious coffee and tea lattes. All the drinks aren't on the menu but I highly recommend the basket of apples latte or passion tea latte.

A popular Kansas City coffee shop that even put Starbucks out of business when they tried to open a location across the street. I'd recommend the soy vanilla latte.

This is a pretty big Starbucks with a great outdoor deck area that stays open later than most locations (Sun-Thurs 5:30a-11p and Fri-Sat 5:30a-1am)

$4 Boulevard Wheats, need I say more? A great dive bar with a few pool tables in the back make it a perfect place to actually hear the person sitting next to you.

This is the perfect date place...small, gorgeous and delicious food. There is live piano most nights (except Monday) and 1/2 price wine glasses on select nights.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Kansas City. It's a scratch kitchen so everything is super fresh and delicious. McCoy's also has a rich Kansas City history.
