I haven't tried this restaurant yet, but understand it is owned by the same people who own The Rushton. It looks higher end but it's always busy, so if you're hankering for seafood, give it a try!

A good local Mexican restaurant. It's small inside but has a good size patio out back for the warmer months. It tends to get busy so get there early or call ahead for a reservation.

St Clair West Station is the closest subway station to the house. It can be accessed easily via bus, streetcar or by foot (10-15 mins). The trip is anywhere from 10-20 mins, depending on where you go.
