Great smaller ski resort. Often less crowds than Squaw and Northstar. Better for intermediate and above skiers and boarders. Stay away on windy days as they often have to close the summit lift.

Great Beach located a 10-15 minute drive away. Parking can be difficult as it is street parking in a residential neighborhood, but this gorgeous beach is worth it!
