Neighborhood Dining...starting a block away
walk block to Webster Street for more than a dozen restaurants to choise from.
Great Steak and Eggs. Indoor and outdoor seating for breakfast and lunch. Their donut shop is also really good and right next door.

This is the most elevated dinner restaurant in the neighborhood. The Berkshire pork chop is amazing. It is on the pricey side but we liked it. Particularly the innovative cocktails and Paris Brest

fun place to taste all the St George's fine spirits selection and then toddle back home.
This is a remarkable place - great architecture on the old Naval base facing the water with a view of the city offers a variety of tastings. I like the brandy and liqueurs.

This beach is a short walk from the house and runs several miles along the island with views of San Francisco and south. You can hire a bike at Park Street and there are many restaurants and cafes within strolling distance.

Entry to the park is just a block from the house. Each day we stroll this waterfront preserve which includes past duck pond, sand beach and cove. Wonder representation of local sea birds (plover, egret, heron, bufflehead)
