We also want to recommend our neighbourhood café: Viggbyholms stationscafé which is situated in the old building just beside the station.
You can also find a nice little toy store: Barnens handelsbod and another little shop for souvenirs and presents: Inne hos Vera.

When we don´t feel like cooking we actually go to our favorite restaurant on Kungsholmen: Mamadou. It is an asian inspired restaurant with good prices and large portions. We just love this place!

In the old city, Gamla stan, there are lots of tourists but also one of the most beautiful areas of Stockholm. In Gamla stan you find the Royal Castle and one of the oldest churches in the region: Storkyrkan.

Vaxholm could be called the entrance to the archipelago. It is a very nice little village close to the water where you find different routes that takes you to the archipelago. You can also find restaurangs, cafés and some shopping. Worth a visit!

Parks & Nature
We just have to tell you about our favorite place to walk: the hiking path around Rönningesjön. It is so beautiful and nice at any time of the year. During the summer we regularly go swimming there and during winter time we go skiing and skating when it is enough snow and ice. Such a great area for activities and relaxation!
