If you have kids, they'll love this park. It has swings, a big playground with small slides, a small water play area, and lots of toys. There are chickens that roam around this park that make it interesting (but they can also make a mess!). It is very sunny, so not good on very hot days.

One of the bigger parks in the area. It has sections for both big- and little kids, with a water-play area. There is also a big lawn where the kids can run around. This park has full shade in parts of it all day so is good if you want to avoid the sun.

Only a block away. It is on Sidney and Franklin Streets. It does not have a playground. However, there are tables and chairs and benches to enjoy the weather. In the evenings, we often go there to see the rabbits that live in the bushes and watch the birds.

About 1 block away. They have a kids area upstairs with a few toys and lots of books. On Tuesdays at 11:00am they have a Toddler Storytime. On Thursdays at 11:30, they have a sing along for the children. Our son loves it.
