Iconic and yet under-rated, our Museum and Art Gallery should be high on your list of places to visit. Plus it is FREE! Fascinating collection of art works, displays of animals and some of Darwin's most impactful events - including cyclone Tracey. Bonus points for the location - by the sparkling water... lunch at the cafe or across the road at the Darwin Ski Club.

Deckchair Cinema is a gorgeous outdoor cinema right by the ocean on the edge of the city. Movies are a carefully curated bunch selected to appeal broadly. One of my favourites :)

Darwin Waterfront is the perfect spot to spend a day relaxing. You can lay on the grass and soak up the sunshine, you can dive into the waves of our Wave Pool or enjoy food and drinks from some of Darwin's best spots. I recommend packing a picnic and spending time relaxing under a tree with a great book
