Beat the crowded lines in the French Quarter and head to this location in City Park. Beautiful surroundings and no hour+ long lines. Beignets are the way to go. Cafe au lait awaits.

Chris Hannah is the cocktail guru here. James Beard created a category to give him an award, that is the level this amazingly talented artist creates his truly perfect cocktails. The food is also excellent, we always do a few plates here with drinks then go out for dinner. We also regularly pop end to finish our night here. Gorgeous atmosphere, excellence all around.

Want to explore local New Orleans on food. These are some of our favorite places to walk and take in the beauty of New Orleans.
A great walk up Esplanade. Lots of local spots to stop at along the way for food and drink. Once you hit the park there’s no end to the beautiful places you can go. Designed by the same person who designed Central Park in NYC and bigger too. The museum, Cafe Du Monde for beignets and cafe au lait (this is where we go to avoid the ridiculous lines at the one I the French quarter) and the Sculpture Garden are all great places to start.
