5708 Oakland AveNora's is a small cafe with a nice selection of sandwiches, that come with a side, and drink. Many are local concoctions, and are listed on a big board when you enter. Nora's is only open during the day, so take advantage then.

Very unique ordering style restaurant. You will need to pay attention when menu is explained. Food is fresh, and local. Burgers are smashed thin. Best fish tacos I have ever had. It is attached to a bar, and a store, called Mac's Local Buys. The store has a selection of local, organic, and humane food, body, and home products. Great for the person that shops selectively with their conscience.

Nice restaurant and bar with brick walls and wall sconces with candles, very nice nighttime atmosphere. Menu is small, selective, and fresh. This is a more high end place.
