Most tourists will visit Holy Cow to get their fondue, but we recommend this place. It's been running for decades, and still offers the best Moitié-Moitié (a tasty variety of fondue) in town.

A lovely café. This is also where you will be arriving if you come with Bus 72. Its open most days, and serves delicious coffees very close to our house.

A predominantly gay bar, great if you want to start drinking early. People come here after work and are very sociable, so it's easy to meet new friends. The music is often great (live DJ) but there's no space to dance.

Hive is simply one of the best clubs in Zurich. It's been going for 10+ years, and is still as strong as ever. During the day, they have a lunchtime restaurant which serves fantastic food.

This is your stop for our apartment. Tram Lines 9 (to the lake) and 14 (to the main train station) stop here. Also bus 32 (to Langstrasse, the night-life, restaurant and off-mainstream shopping area). It also has a night bus connection, running Friday and Saturday night around the clock.

You probably read about all the other museums in your tour guide. But this one is great, because it's a) usually free b) exhibits upcoming local artists. And because Zurich's art scene is VERY alive, you will see amazing talent here.
