During the summer holiday season, unless you have an official pass or a 2-wheel vehicle, it's a 45 minute walk to the beach--well worth it! There are 3 trails from the top of the road (le col), 1 steeper than the others, and shorter. (It's best not to leave your car in the entrance parking lot later than 19h30.)
