Open plan gable living room kitchen. Wet room. King size bedroom downstairs with double doors opening onto morning terrace. Watch the sunset on the west facing terrace. Double bedroom and space for children to sleep. Wet room and fully functional kitchen. Private Hot tub. Suitable for up to 4 adults and 2/3 children. There are space saving stairs to the first floor. These are quite steep. There is a stair gate at the top but not at the bottom. Something to note if you have small children. Outdoor dining & BBQ. The ground floor is part disabled friendly. Anyone booking must be able to open doors independently for easy escape.

    The cabin is a light comfortable carefully designed and newly built Scandanavian style self-contained building with a complete kitchen, separate shower room and pull down Very comfortable Queen sized bed. It has a television with integral DvD player and heating under the wooden floor. Great Wi-fi, Contemporary lighting. Please note that hot water runs for 5mins very hot then takes 30 mins to reheat to same temp. Please don't change the settings as this will blow the thermostat.
    The cabin is in my garden, with parking and just one minute fom the quay And it’s own private patio.. It is central to the shops and restaurants and bars in lovely Wells. Twenty minutes walk to the beach. I make sure that essentials like tea and coffee are available. The bed is made up and there are lots of towels. Shampoo, shower gel and washing up liquid are also ready to go! The kitchen is well equipped for two guests.
    Wells is lovely. The sea when the tide is up. Early mornings, the beach. The super independent shops, the pubs, cafes and delis. The ease of living in a small town with a bank, post office and friendly neighbours!

  • Airbnb у Кейт великолепна! Очень близко к центру Уэллса, который является прекрасным городом и имеет много хороших магазинов, пекарен и ресторанов. Все в городе находится в нескольких минутах ходьбы, включая автобусный доступ к остальной части побережья. Набережная находится всего в минуте ходьбы и предлагает прекрасную морскую прогулку. Близлежащие районы дикой природы, а также. Место было отличное отопление, и было стильно, просторно и чисто. Кроме того, Кейт была любезна и позволила нам бросить багаж рано.     Pretty, very light and spacious living areas with a lovely, totally private, enclosed south- facing garden and outside dining area with table, chairs and BBQ. Traditional, cosy cottage decor with plenty of homely touches and a mix of antique, vintage and modern furniture and fabrics plus a driftwood floor in the living room / dining area.Fully equipped kitchen with oven, washing machine, fridge freezer, microwave and dishwasher. Travel cot (no bedding), stair gate and high chair. Wifi included. Wood-burning stove for the colder months. Some wood provided, more available at cost. Oil-fired central heating. Additional electric room heaters. Please be aware that the twin bedroom is accessed via the single bedroom; both have doors. BBQ and outdoor furniture available for use. Active local pub (Jolly Farmers a 2 minute walk), and half a mile from Creake Abbey which has a really good restaurant/café, great outside space with toys and little tractors and an award-winning farmers' market plus many other events throughout the year. Burnham Market is 2 miles away, with its famous hat shop and much else to offer for a wander round. Fabulous beaches at Wells, Holkham, Burnham Overy Staithe, Titchwell, Brancaster and Hunstanton (plus many more) are within a short drive. The first 3 are the nearest and are 3-5 miles away.
    North Creake has a friendly local pub within a short walk of the cottage. Creake Abbey, renowned for its restaurant, farmers' market and craft fairs, is under half a mile away. There is a huge network of excellent footpaths on the doorstep for dog-walkers. There are some great pubs and eateries nearby, including the Duck in Stanhoe and the Black Lion in Walsingham. The cottage has a pair of resident tawny owls and swifts nest in the roof in the summer months, which is increasingly rare around here. The cottage is 2 miles from Burnham Market and within 5 miles of Burnham Overy Staithe, Holkham, Wells and Brancaster beaches which, if you do not already know them, are well worth googling as they are amazing.

Modern insulation and a chic wood-burning Morso stove add to the cosy interior of this renovated cottage with doors overlooking the terrace and old farm buildings beyond. Enjoy cooking on the Everhot range cooker. March 2020. We’re taking extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations and using written/phone briefing with messaging.     The Old Laundry is in countryside on a family estate with parkland, close to a listed 19th-century dovecote. The open-plan living area is in a just-converted small barn, with Morso wood-burning stove (logs provided), pamment floors with underfloor heating and two flat-screen TVs, the large one has netflix and both have freeview . It is finished to a very high standard and is a lovely mix of old and new: a contemporary kitchen with an electric Everhot range cooker, microwave and dishwasher, opening to a dining and seating area with a beautiful wooden beam. It sleeps four in two upstairs bedrooms in new pocket-sprung beds, one double, one super-king that can transform into twin beds, made up with White Company bedlinen. There is a shower/bathroom upstairs and a loo downstairs. Wifi is ADSL 2 (c17mbps).
    The Old Laundry is set in farmland where horses and sheep graze. It's in the lively, history-rich village of North Elmham which has an excellent cafe, shop, and two pubs. A network of footpaths begins at the doorstep and the small lanes nearby are perfect for cycling. Guests frequently return to explore Norfolk's beautiful coast, stately homes, market towns, Norwich, and many attractions (featured in Mark and Hetty's guidebook), which include, for children, Pensthorpe's adventure playground.

Наши дети в возрасте 11 и 16 лет очень любили посещать теннисные корты и прогулки по деревне, ланчи и горячий шоколад в «Elmham Tea Post» также были победителями.     Dine on BBQ grills in the Moroccan-themed covered sitting area, and in the 'winter months' stoke up the log stove and break out the board games for a night in. This self-contained space is decorated in a tasteful nautical theme, and includes a large walk-in shower room. Coronavirus: In order to mitigate the risk of infection we have introduced a new cleaning regime. We now undertake a sanitizing deep-clean using disinfectants on all surfaces including the floor and kitchen worktop, dining table and chairs, door and cupboard handles, tv remote, taps, loo light switches and shower area.
    Cosy Cottage is a self-contained converted outbuilding situated in a quite off-road location with access to the extensive gardens and summer house. It is decorated in a delightful beach theme throughout and features a double bedroom, lounge, well-equipped kitchen, dining area and large walk-in shower room. With an HD TV and DVD player in the cottage, you can cosy up on the sofa and enjoy a quite night in. There is also secure parking.
    North Elmham is a friendly village in the heart of Norfolk. Enjoy a cooked breakfast or light lunch at The Teapost, only steps away, and gastropub delights at The King's Head, 5 minutes' walk. The North Norfolk coast 25 minutes away is a must-visit.

    Ditch the car and explore Wells-next-the-Sea, staying in a stunning shepherd's hut. Cosy wood burner, deliciously comfy bed, en suite shower & WC, kitchenette, garden area, parking. Walk into town to see the working fishing boats, chic shops and fantastic restaurants. Or to the Coast Path and magical views over the salt marsh, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It's become a treat to host special birthdays, anniversaries and mini-moons. COVID-19: No bookings from 23 March until next update
    It has been a real labour of love to source and prepare the shepherd's hut for guests and I hope you enjoy the results. From the plants in the garden to the stylish crockery, everything is designed to create a pretty environment for you to relax in. The rural location gives you a sense of space and the hut has its own drive, parking and garden. Birds and butterflies thrive in the wooded dell, including the resident cuckoo. Sitting at the table inside, you'll see the trees silhouetted against the sunset as you eat an evening meal. In the sunny garden you can spread the day's newspapers out on the picnic bench, topping up coffee from the cafetiere. I also provide deck chairs for basking in the sun. The bed is deliciously comfortable and inviting. The en suite shower and taps have instant hot water. The wood burner is seriously effective and out of season you'll soon find that you're more than toasty. New for winter - heated towel rail in en suite! The hut is also insulated and double-glazed. We have mains water. The electricity is partially supplied by solar panel. I've found ways to provide you with nearly every comfort you'd expect in a normal self-catering property. The only differences are that heating is by the wood burner, cooking facilities are limited and there is currently no wifi or TV. However, the 4G reception is extra good (a by-product of the offshore wind farm) so you can still get online and stream videos. When there are lots of people on the campsite using their showers, the water pressure to the hut may sometimes run low, affecting the consistency of the hot water supply. Bed: Pocket sprung double bed with Cath Kidston duvet cover and hotel-quality towels, sheets and pillows. Storage for your clothes: baskets under the bed, a bespoke ottoman, lots of hooks, hangers. Dining table and chairs, digital radio, Bluetooth sound bar, kitchenette with gas camping stove, full size fridge with ice box. Door leading to en suite shower, washbasin and wc. Liquid soap, shower gel and moisturiser provided. Shelves and storage for your additional toiletries, shaving mirror. Garden: Picnic bench, garden bench, deck chairs to relax with a book and glass of wine, Weber BBQ. Parking: Designated car parking for one car. Heating: Wood burner. Also provided: Enough wood and kindling to get you started with the wood burner, gas for the camping stove and charcoal for the BBQ (more wood, gas canisters and charcoal for sale on-site), chocolate treats, milk, tea, coffee, sugar. We have no mains electricity, so the fridge and lights are powered by solar panel and leisure battery. I provide a 12v charger with various adapters so you can power your mobile etc but there is no TV, WiFi or microwave. I provide a gas-powered cordless curling tong. I used to provide a hair dryer but it was prone to trip the 12v system. Cooking: We have no oven but you can cook simple meals on the gas camping stove. Pans and cooking utensils provided. Keep the window open if you use it inside. You can also cook using the charcoal barbecue in the garden. Instructions and a couple of roasting recipes are in the guest information folder. There are also plenty of great restaurants, fish & chip shops and cafes plus good supermarkets, delis, bakery, butcher and fishmonger in Wells. Tea/coffee: Boil the kettle on the gas camping stove or wood burner. Tea, coffee, sugar provided.
    Wells beach was named Sunday Times "Beach of the Year" in 2016 and it's not hard to see why. The wide open skies, the sense of freedom even on a busy summer's day, the sweep of colourful huts against the pine forest. Located one mile from the harbour, you can walk along the beach wall to get there, taking in the view of the channel lined with leisure boats and the salt marshes and sea beyond. You can also take the little narrow gauge train part-way there or there is a car park if you choose to drive. We have fantastic gastro pubs, fish & chip shops and cafes a short walk from the shepherd’s hut (I can make recommendations) and great independent retailers along Staithe Street. Or to find solitude and wildlife you don't have to walk far. Local OS map and walks books available for use by guests. Wells has a rich calendar for art and culture. Live theatre screenings with Screen-next-the-Sea, music and theatre at Holkham Hall and the annual festivals. Norwich attractions are an hour away. Sport: swimming pool at the school, sailing, tennis courts, park run at Holkham Hall, lots of great running and cycling routes on your doorstep. As well as the landscape, it's the lively community feel that makes Wells special - the historic fishing fleet landing the day’s catch on the harbour wall, the sailing club ‘sharpies’ racing out by the lifeboat shed, children ‘gillying’ for crabs, and the popular annual calendar of events, including Wells Carnival, Poetry-next-the-Sea, Wheels-next-the-Sea, the Pirate festival and the magical Christmas Tide.

    A really lovely refurbished cottage with a modern and stylish, rustic interior and the addition of a fabulous outdoor Garden Room. As the name implies, Beck Cottage overlooks the little river Burn that meanders through the pretty village of South Creake and sits opposite the village green; this is where the village ducks have made their home! A double fronted end terrace flint cottage, it is fully refurbished and beautifully furnished throughout with understated style and comfort foremost in mind. Enter the front door and you walk into an attractive open-plan, dual aspect living space; the comfortable sitting area enjoys a view of the village, a squashy L-shaped sofa and a wood burning stove will keep you extra warm and cosy in cooler months. At the far end of the room, a compact but well-equipped and well-planned kitchen overlooks the landscaped rear garden. The low maintenance garden is fully enclosed and safe for little ones to play. The main feature is the Garden Room, a rather lovely spot to sit on summer evenings with a glass of wine or anytime when you want some quiet space. Beck Cottage is a both a romantic spot for two and will also suit a small family or friends looking for a break away together. This is an ideal base for enjoying easy access to both coastal and rural North Norfolk and just the place to relax and breathe in some fresh Norfolk air; somewhere to unwind and adopt a slower pace of life. If you are feeling active, there's plenty to do and many wonderful places to go, but if you just want to unwind and stay put, there is no nicer place to be! The cottage has modern electric heaters throughout, although the Garden Room is not heated. Ground Floor: Open-plan living area and kitchen A very attractive dual aspect room. The front doors leads into a comfortable sitting area with a window overlooking the village playing fields, and a large L-shaped sofa, armchair and stool, all set around the wood burning stove and television with DVD player. At the far end of the room is a well-planned and well-equipped kitchen with an electric cooker, microwave, fridge with ice box, very important wine chiller and window overlooking the garden. A side door takes you into the garden. There is also a washing machine housed in the lockable store just outside the kitchen. Dining room A separate room to the side of the sitting room with table and seating for four. Bathroom A modern suite with bath, glazed screen and electric shower over, wash basin and wc. First Floor: Master bedroom A pretty room that overlooks the garden. Bedroom two At the front of the cottage with a view of the village, with two full size single beds. Outside: Garden room Overlooking the garden, with comfortable seating and panel heater - a great place to spend a quiet afternoon or evening with a good book and a glass of wine. The garden is fully enclosed and safe for little ones to play. Mostly laid to shingle with shrub borders. Parking is available in a pull-in area off the village road opposite the cottage. Additional Information: One well-behaved pet allowed for a small additional charge. Please note: Although the garden is enclosed, we cannot guarantee that a dog will not be able to escape from the garden. The neighbouring property has a right of way through the garden. There is a fixed wooden stair gate at the bottom of the stairs.

    The Manse, approached via electric gates, is a charming Grade II listed traditional detached cottage situated in the popular village of South Creake. Just a few minutes drive south of Burnham Market, and ten minutes from the coast at Brancaster or Wells. It is well positioned to explore all of the North Norfolk coast and surrounding countryside. A much loved second home, The Manse provides spacious accommodation for up to six people, with a fully enclosed garden and high quality furnishings throughout. The living space downstairs includes a contemporary kitchen with breakfast bar, separate utility room, dining room and comfortable sitting room. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms and a twin bedroom with an en-suite to the master bedroom and a family bathroom. The Manse has a lovely enclosed walled garden that enjoys the sun all day and is equipped with two patio area and a brick barbecue - perfect for summer evenings. Additional Information The chapel is used periodically for classical music concerts or teaching, however this is very infrequent and takes place without disturbance to The Manse. Sorry, no pets. Ground Floor: Door leading to entrance hall with cloakroom and utility room off. Kitchen Contemporary kitchen with high quality appliances including two drawer dishwasher, integrated under counter fridge, ceramic hob with extractor hood over and double oven, and microwave.     Blakeney is one of the most beautiful and unspoilt coastal villages in England. The jewel of the Norfolk coastline it is full of traditional cottages and right on the coast, the traditional quay and mini beach are at the end of the road. The best beach in Norfolk, Holkham, is a drive of approx ten minutes along the coast. Lovely traditional seaside village with a traditional quay with boats coming and going, lovely walks along the salt marshes and coast, mini beach, great paddling, mini canoe hire for children. Crab fishing off the quay. The best beach is Holkham beach, very sandy and lots of space, sand dunes etc. This is to the left along the coastal road. Wells has a good beach as well and the village is nice for looking around. Going right along the Coast road are shingle beaches. Sheringham and Cromer. There is a pier at Cromer. Best shops are in Holt. Lovely old market town. There is a small supermarket in Blakeney within walking distance. Go down to the quay and turn left. Also a small variety of interesting shops. Places to eat within easy walking distance are two pubs child friendly, the Kings Arms and The White Horse. The Moorings for slightly more expensive meal, but they also do lunch and coffee. Two hotels that do food The Blakeney Hotel and The Manor, a lovely little cafe at the Methodist Church in the High St. for lunch and coffee, good value and children’s toys. Stately Homes to visit, Holkham Hall, Blickling and Sandringham. For a real treat Morton Hall, run by TV chef Galton Blackiston. In the summer you will find a caravan on the quay selling lovely crab sandwiches and also an ice cream shop near the quay. The harbour rooms usually have local bands at weekends. The village hall has antique fairs and there are often sales of crafts near the quay. The seal trip is a must. You can buy tickets at the bottom of the road.

Upstairs there are three beautifully presented good-sized bedrooms. It's conveniently located within walking distance of a good local pub, childrens' playground and tennis court and has the advantage of a private enclosed walled courtyard garden. The beautiful coast at Holkham or Burnham Overy Staithe is only 10 minutes drive away. Discounts are available for low occupancy and late availability
    Ground Floor Entrance (via back door): back hall leading to the utility room, bathroom and separate loo. Cloakroom: with WC. Utility room: with plenty of coats and boot storage space plus a washer dryer and a clothes airer Bathroom: contemporary bathroom which has a bath with fixed overhead shower, hand basin and a heated towel rail. Kitchen: A lovely fitted kitchen with an integral electric oven, ceramic hob and extractor hood, full height fridge/freezer, built-in shelves, Bosch dishwasher and a microwave. Bedroom 2: Attractive room with a double bed, bedside tables and lamps, chest of drawers and an open wardrobe. Outside Parking is on the road directly outside the front of the house with extra spaces around the green. Parking is not permitted at the rear of the house even to unload. Guests are politely requested to respect the property neighbours in this regard There is a wooden pedestrian gate leading through to the private fully enclosed walled courtyard cottage garden. The outside area is paved and has a lovely table and chairs, parasol and stand, together with a barbeque. It's only a short walk to the village playing fields with a childrens' playground and a tennis court, as well as a stream which is home to a huge family of ducks. There are also some fantastic country and coastal walks to enjoy nearby. .
    South Creake South Creake is a very popular rural village. There is a village green with a children's play area and tennis courts. There is a mediaeval church, St. Mary's, which hosts various arts and music events throughout the year. South Creake is about five miles from the Georgian village of Burnham Market, famous for its interesting shops, restaurants and pretty village green. Six miles to the other side of South Creake is the market town of Fakenham with its wider range of facilities and farmers' market.

  • Прямо на главной улице над гастрономом, но совсем не шумно, у нас было много места для отдыха. Столовая кухня просторная и очень хорошо оборудованная, с множеством посуды и кухонной утвари, если вам нужно приготовить еду самостоятельно. Хорошая удобная гостиная, опять просторная для 4/5 человек. Две ванные комнаты означали, что очереди в душ не было. Прекрасные открытые пространства в Блакни, идеально подходящие, если вы любите тихие прогулки, на которых можно исследовать только пение птиц, мили и мили пешеходной дорожки. Восхитительная деревня, очень хорошие места, где можно поесть и выпить, а также множество интересных мест для дальнейшего изучения.

    Nelson Cottage is a charming period mid-terrace Norfolk cottage which has been tastefully refurbished. It is beautifully presented throughout with a contemporary bathroom and kitchen, a comfortable sitting room with an open fire-place, with the advantage of free Wi-Fi and BT Vision. It is conveniently located in the heart of Burnham Market within a short walk to the village green with its great selection of independent shops, galleries and places to eat. There is a fully enclosed courtyard garden which catches the afternoon and evening sun, and it's only 2 mins walk to the playing fields with tennis courts and a childrens' playground. Dogs welcome (small additional fee of £20 per dog)
    Ground Floor Sitting Room: Tiled floor with underfloor heating and a large comfortable L-shaped sofa with plenty of cushions. This is a charming cosy room with an attractive exposed brick wall, an open working fire, sofa and a flat-screen TV with BT TV package, including BT Sport, and a DVD player. There is a large walk in cupboard by the front door for hanging coats and storing footwear, dog-leads etc Kitchen: With underfloor heating, pale blue painted units, windows overlooking the courtyard, halogen hob, electric oven, cupboard housing fridge (with ice-box) and a microwave. There's a kitchen table which will seat 4. Door to the stairs up to the first floor. There is a washing machine housed between the kitchen and the bathroom. There is a door leading from the hallway between the kitchen and bathroom into the back courtyard. Bedroom 1: Beautifully presented large light and airy room at the front of the cottage with church views, a king-size bed, bedside tables and lamps, boudoir chair, chest of drawers and a built-in wardrobe. There is a storage heater. Bedroom 2: Smaller room which has a double bed and chest of drawers. The bedroom is at the back of the cottage and overlooks the courtyard. Please note that there is an additional mattress stored under the double which may be used if required. There is a storage heater. Outside At the back of the cottage is a full enclosed, newly paved courtyard garden with a new bronze steel 4 seater garden dining table and chairs set with parasol. In the courtyard also there is a garden love seat with cushions (stored inside). There is a Weber bbq for guests to use housed in one of the outside storage sheds. The courtyard is a real sun-trap and enjoys the afternoon and evening sun. Although there is no designated off-street parking, there are no parking restrictions and it is usually possible to park outside. Please note that there is a right of access through the garden by the neighbouring cottage, but this is rarely used and so should not disturb guests.
    Burnham Market A delightful Georgian village which is situated a stone’s throw away from the glorious North Norfolk coastline and is the largest of the 7 Burnham villages. At its centre is a large village green surrounded by striking Queen Anne and Georgian buildings, with 2 churches that lie at each end of its broad main street. Unlike many other English towns which are dominated by multiples, Burnham Market has a traditional post office, butcher, baker, hardware shop, fish shop and chemist for all the necessities of everyday life, but there are also over 30 highly original independent and specialist shops, selling a wide range of exciting deli products, vibrant and stylish accessories for home and garden, smart clothes shops, and books old and new. There are some great places to eat, the best being the renowned Hoste Arms which is a 17th Century old coaching house and is open all day. As a result Burnham Market attracts many celebrities and cosmopolitan visitors, getting very crowded in the holiday periods, earning the nickname “Chelsea-on-Sea.” There is an annual summer music festival with professional musicians entertaining residents and holiday makers in various venues such as the lovely church of Burnham Westgate at the western edge of the village. From the end of November the village is beautifully lit with Christmas lights and it makes the perfect place to visit for Christmas shopping.

    A brick and flint end terrace cottage, built approximately thirty years ago, and set in a pretty village that has good access to both the beautiful North Norfolk coast and many local attractions. This is a great holiday retreat for families and friends all year round.<br /> <br /> This lovely cottage is furnished in an eclectic, relaxing and comfortable style with a mix of modern and antique furniture, and has a warm and welcoming feel as soon as you walk through the door. French doors from the enclosed cottage garden lead into a well-equipped and good sized breakfast kitchen, which has soft grey floorboards, deep grey units with marble tops, so perfectly complemented by the pine table, antique elm chairs and rocking chair.The sitting room, which overlooks the village green, has plenty of comfy seating, a log burner to light on cooler evenings, and a barn door leading into the front garden to open on summer days. Upstairs there are three bedrooms, two with full-size single beds and one king size, and a family bathroom.<br /> <br /> 1 Mallard Cottages is a fabulous chill-out place to stay and will appeal to families, couples and friends who enjoy a peaceful, rural location. It&#39;s only twenty minute drive to the coast, and both the wonderful Pensthorpe and Sculthorpe Moor Nature Reserves are close by. A little further afield are Houghton Hall and Sandringham House, which are well worth a visit. There is a good choice of great places to eat locally, the nearest being The Crown at East Rudham, where there is also a village store with post office.

At its centre is a large village green surrounded by striking Queen Anne and Georgian buildings, with 2 churches that lie at each end of its broad main street.Unlike many other English towns which are dominated by multiples, Burnham Market has a traditional post office, butcher, baker, hardware shop, fish shop and chemist for all the necessities of everyday life, but there are also over 30 highly original independent and specialist shops, selling a wide range of exciting deli products, vibrant and stylish accessories for home and garden, smart clothes shops, and books old and new. There are some great places to eat, the best being the renowned Hoste Arms which is a 17th Century old coaching house and is open all day. As a result Burnham Market attracts many celebrities and cosmopolitan visitors, getting very crowded in the holiday periods, earning the nickname &ldquo;Chelsea-on-Sea.&rdquo; There is an annual summer music festival with professional musicians entertaining residents and holiday makers in various venues such as the lovely church of Burnham Westgate at the western edge of the village.From the end of November the village is beautifully lit with Christmas lights and it makes the perfect place to visit for Christmas shopping.

The barn offers plenty of room to relax and unwind and to dine, sleep and cook. Perfect for a short break or longer stay any time of year, it also comes with underfloor heating and log wood burning stove, so a perfect escape when the nights draw in and the days become shorter. With a comfortable king-size bed and Egyption cotton sheets, you will assured of a good night's sleep, ready to explore the area the next day. Being on one floor, Holland House Barn is also suited to those with less mobility and a ramp can also be provided to the front door to ensure easy access into the barn. With no steps in the property and a spacious wet room, this lad back holiday home is easy to enjoy.     4 Gravel Hill is a rustic style traditional mid terrace Victorian cottage in Burnham Overy Town. It is situated in a peaceful position overlooking the churchyard to the rear and a working farmyard to the front, and just a few minutes drive to the coast and to Burnham Market. A simple but comfortable base with an old charm to it, this cottage could be ideal for those who like to take a step back, slow the pace and take long walks from your doorstep. There are plenty of paths from the cottage so the enthusiastic can walk all the way to the beach or pub without going on the roads. It's such a peaceful spot you are bound to see wildlife, from hares to barn owls and skeins of winter geese passing overhead. The Coaslink bus passes by, and the quiet lanes are great for cycling. 4 Gravel Hill would make a simple cosy cottage break for a couple or small family. There are two bedrooms with vintage furniture and comfortable beds. The stairs are particularly steep and there are steps throughout the cottage, so it perhaps wouldn't suit very young children or anyone with restricted mobility. This is a dog friendly cottage, although the pretty little garden to the front isn't fully enclosed. Access to the rear is over a shared pathway. Additional Information Two well behaved dogs welcome (small additional charge). Norfolk winder stairs are, as with older character cottages enclosed, steep, curved and narrow. Here they are wooden with a hand rail on one side and very narrow at the top.     Strawberry Cottage is a sweet little one bedroom annexe, surrounded by meadows, garden and a plentiful orchard. The perfect base for discovering the charms of Norfolk. A couple of steps away from the farmhouse, the bedroom in Strawberry Cottage can be adapted to accommodate one or two adults in a single or double bed. A travel cot or air bed can be provided if needed. Please note, the toilet is in the main house, but is accessible 24/7. A simple continental breakfast tray is set out for you.
    Jason and Louise live in the farmhouse with their four young children and Guinness, the black Labrador. The house is surrounded by a large garden and orchard, which you are welcome to share. The surrounding meadows are grazed by cows with their calves during the summer months, and Lionel the horse loves to meet visitors, especially those bearing apples. Two friendly hens, Iris and Snowy, range freely. There is wifi in the room. The TV has freeview channels and a DVD player and there is a radio.
    The busy market town of Dereham is 1 mile away and easy to reach on foot. The popular Polar Express train leaves Dereham station regularly over the Christmas period. Swanton Morley is a delightful village 2 miles away with 2 traditional pubs, Darbys and The Angel and a village shop. Nearby outings include Gressenhall Farm & Workhouse, with a working farm and great café; Pensthorpe Natural Park, home to Springwatch 2008-10; the beautiful North Norfolk coast; Roar! Dinosaur adveture; and The Thursford Collection. The award winning pub The Brisley Bell, our favourite local pub and restaurant, is just a ten minute drive away.

    We lived in this house until recently so we have redecorated, provided all new beds, linen, white goods, sofas etc so that guests will enjoy their stay in a light, airy and clean house.

    A lovely characterful and cosy cottage located in a private road in the quiet village of Docking, just a few miles from the coast and beautiful Brancaster beach. With vaulted ceilings, exposed brick fireplace and wooden beams, this is a relaxing and romantic couples retreat. Sexton's Yard has a really lovely welcoming feel as soon as you step inside the front door. Managed by the owners who live close by, a stable door opens into the open-plan living area which has a beautiful exposed brick feature fireplace with multi-fuel stove. With comfortable seating and dining space for four people and a Smart television with WiFi and radio the room is great to snuggle up in with a glass of wine. The kitchen is well-equipped and comes with modern appliances and solid oak work surfaces and perfect if you want to cook. Upstairs you will find two stylish bedrooms both with double beds and a shower room. Outside there is a sunny fully-enclosed shingle courtyard garden with garden furniture so you can soak up the rays and dine alfresco or enjoy the homemade cake the owner bakes for you on arrival! Additional Information Bedding is feather. (Synthetic bedding is available, please request this when booking). Due to the age and character of the cottage there is restricted head height in the sitting room which measures 1.73m (68"). Two well behaved small dogs are welcome (small additional charge).
