Forget-me-not Cottage has been refurbished in February. It is a lovely cottage, very cosy and relaxing. It has all the things you could need for a holiday very close by. We are dog friendly at the cottage and welcome your pooch. The cottage will be cleaned thoroughly before your stay. We have buckets and spades for you to take to the beach to make the perfect sandcastle - you’re never too old to make a sandcastle :-) please do not hesitate to contact me for further details.
The cottage is 5 minutes away from the beach, Hunstanton golf club and The Neptune, a Michelin star restaurant (booking required). Also close by is Titchwell for bird watching. Sandingham is a 10 minute drive away. Petals Tea Rooms is great to stop off at for afternoon tea or a cuppa and a slice of cake. Also in Hunstanton Town, which you can walk to is a swimming pool and another lovely beach with arcades and a funfair. 2 minutes walk away is the local, The Lodge, which offers lovely meals and a great beer with garden. There is a play park directly over the road from the cottage and a local shop which offers fresh croissants and other delicious treats.
Old Hunstanton is the place to be. There are leaflets at the cottage to let you know of the many places nearby to visit. I can also advise you further if you would like details

We have 5 friendly Mups n Pups! Fireman's Cottage was built in 1623 and sits in the grounds of Hunstanton Hall and Park. The grounds are only open to the public on Thursdays and even then people must be on foot and keep to the top roadway. A 14th Century moat runs through the garden, separating the cottage from Hunstanton Hall Tranquility in an idyllic location! Such peace and quiet to hear and see wildlife: Muntjac deer, Buzzards, Owls etc The Norfolk coast is a big draw for birdwatching
PLEASE READ carefully :) ... Within these historic walls reside 5 friendly, furry DOGS/pups. Because we are aware that our communal hallways/landings are dog/puppy runways and therefore far from immaculate, we are not fussy about people entering these areas in their shoes; nor do we wish to be judged as such, especially as we are forewarning people. If a completely spotless environment is what you require, then our humble abode will not suit your style :) This is very much a traveller's place for rest and respite, a living home, not a glamourous hotel. The Eves bedroom is on the 2nd floor which has a lovely view through the velux window. The room has a Kingsize bed, single wardrobe for hanging space and drawer space in bedside tables. There are two solid oak high stools to sit and look out of the window as well as a small armchair underneath a reading spotlight. There is also a desk and computer table where a laptop could be used. There are no kitchen/cooking facilities but a fridge and electric kettle are provided along with cups and saucers and drinking glasses, and the use of a microwave could be made available along with dishes and cutlery, but the guest(s) would be responsible for their own washing-up. A sponge-cloth, washing liquid and a teatowel are provided in the bathroom. The bathroom is next door to the bedroom for the sole use of the guest(s). There is a DVD player and we can offer a small selection of films etc to borrow. We can also provide some board games which can be requested upon arrival (Scrabble, Backgammon, Monopoly etc). Because of the nature of the location, guests must respect the privacy of the other properties and residents and not go wandering around. Please take note again: 5 friendly dogs live here. We can accommodate a guest dog with prior discussions, because of our gang and the bedroom generally being kept dog-free:) 1 mile walk to the beach, door to dunes. Motorbikes and bicycles can be securely parked
Although the area is named as Hunstanton Park, it is privately owned by the Le Strange Estate, who equally own Old Hunstanton beach. There are a few residents in the surrounding dwellings who, like us, own their own properties including sections of the roadway, it is the woods and farmland that the Estate own. There is an incredible amount of fascinating history surrounding the area. The village of Old Hunstanton originates from the 13th Century. It is divided by the coast road. The Cottage being on the side of the original village, duck pond, 14th Century Church and the Hall of course. The village has places to eat and drink:- Caley Hall Hotel, The Lodge, The Ancient Mariner, Le Strange Arms Hotel and The Neptune (Michelin star restaurant). There is also the Post Office/village shop and The Old School Hairdressers/Barbers and Beauticians. The beach is approximately 15 minutes walk from door to the dunes across the golf course. There is the lovely Old Boat Cafe by the beach, opposite the RNLI station Old Hunstanton beach is fantastic for sunsets, walks and joins onto the RSPB sanctuary and Nature Reserve.. The Victorian town of Hunstanton is just round the corner, with local shops, supermarkets, garage and services etc.

Розетта и Гэри были потрясающими, приветствуя меня поздно вечером, предоставляя отличные указания и советы для моей дневной прогулки, и даже заходили так далеко, что отвезли меня на свадьбу в Станхо.     Located at the lighthouse end of Hunstanton, this romantic luxury self-catering cottage is all on one level and a perfect escape for those who want to be able to walk to the sea and all the amenities that Hunstanton and Old Hunstanton offer, whilst also offering somewhere peaceful and relaxing to return to at the end of the day. This modern annexe, attached to the owner’s main house provides a warm welcome as you step through the front door. Beautifully decorated with pops of colour and style, the open-plan layout provides plenty of space to relax in a home-from-home property which is literally across the road from the beach. A big corner sofa is ideally placed in front of the french doors providing great views onto the garden; and on darker winter evenings, snuggle up with a good book or enjoy cosy film nights. With a door leading onto the terrace, you can also let the sunshine in when the days are warmer. You’ll find a small but perfectly equipped kitchen with all you need to create a delicious meal, using all the local produce available locally. There is a little table pour deux in the living area for romantic meals which you can also take al fresco on the the pretty sun terrace to the front of the property. With all rooms on the ground floor it is easy to retire to bed where you’ll find a gorgeous double room and fabulous dressing area with a very large en-suite shower room. With a large television in the bedroom, you may just find it a little harder to get up in the morning, but with the sea and beach literally across the road and so much to get out and do, you’d be mad not to!     Bay View Apartment is a colourful ground floor apartment in a Victorian seaside villa. The accommodation is extremely comfortable with good quality furnishings and fittings. Situated just off the main cliff road and close to the Esplanade Gardens, the apartment is perfect for both the beach and the town's many amenities. The rooms are all spacious and light and decorated in a calming beach theme. As the apartment is on the ground floor, it is also particularly suitable for those guests who do not want to negotiate lots of stairs. This is a perfect base for a traditional bucket and spade holiday by the sea. Additional Information The WiFi at Bay View is mobile and subject to a fair usage policy of no downloading or streaming.     the room is fairly large and sunny and contains a very comfortable futon-style bed. Wardrobe space is available if needed. There are books.

  • Хотя дом проходит ремонт в комнате просторно и тихо - это самая удобная Queensize дополнительная длина кровати с хорошим качеством белья. Я спал исключительно хорошо и развлекал Энтони на завтрак сегодня утром. Он отличный хозяин и служит отличным кофе! Отличное соотношение цены и качества. Существует большая ванная комната (только ванна), которая расположена вдоль верхнего этажа посадки. Это не проблема для меня вообще, но стоит отметить для будущих гостей. Это было очень холодно ночью и к счастью, моя комната была красиво нагревается. Ticked все правильные коробки для меня и настоятельно рекомендуется по отличной цене ....... хотел бы остаться там снова без колебаний! Спасибо Энтони .....!

    Philip's place is located in Holme-next-the-Sea, England, United Kingdom. You are staying a few minutes walk from Holme Beach - at the last house on Beach Road (the original Peddars Way) - so can swim in the sea at dawn, during the day, at dusk or even by the starlight. Walk with your dog for miles. You'll be right by the Norfolk Coastal path, Holme Dunes National Nature Reserve, the Bird Observatory and the Hunstanton Golf Club championship links course. You can hear the sea from your front door. We are in a Special Site of Scientific Interest (SSSI) and an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), where the Wash meets the North Sea. It's a couple of minutes to the Norfolk Coastal path - so walkers walk to Thornham, Brancaster or further and hop back on the bus which drops you at the top of Beach Road on the A149. You'll soak in the dunes, marsh and sea - or walk along the Hun river and see resident and migrating birds. You could also hear the natterjack toads and see butterflies, moths and dragonflies, as well as a large number of interesting plants including mulleins flowering in our wild garden. If you are a golfer, you can play Hunstanton Golf Club's superb championship links course. It's 125 years old and rated as one of Britain & Ireland's 'Top 100' courses, with the rolling fairways nestling in a stunning landscape of dunes and links grassses. You can also play at the Heacham Manor. If you secure a round at the Royal West Norfolk Golf Club at Brancaster, you'll need to park your car and walk when the tide is high. Various military remains from WWII can be seen at Holme, including the remains of a target-railway used to train artillery. Much earlier remains have also been discovered including an ancient walkway, Roman pottery and saxon fishtraps. In 1998, a well-preserved Bronze Age timber circle, now known as ‘Seahenge’ was uncovered by high tides. The timbers were treated in the Mary Rose laboratory and are now in the museum at King's Lynn. King's Lynn was a Hanseatic town - and is worth a visit. Seahenge 2 is difficult to discern - and often covered by sand. Walk to the cliffs at Hunstanton for fossil hunting and to see one of 2 boat wrecks easily visible at low tide. The other is on Holme Beach between Gore Point and the Firs. Birdwatchers may see wintering thrushes on the sea buckthorn, or avocets, a beautiful black-and-white wader with upturned bill and long legs, on the freshwater. Wheatears and warblers are common in spring and finches and thrushes in the autumn - sometimes there'll be scarcer migrants such as the ring ouzel, wryneck, yellow-browed warbler or barred warbler. It's a great place to seawatch for gannets, skuas, terns and divers. Knot, golden plover and oyster catchers can be seen on the beach. Our wild garden is alive - with our sparrows and starlings nesting in the roof. It makes the front door and the bench a little untidy sometimes! If they have a safe migration, you will also hear the cuckoos in spring and the turtledoves in summer. ✯ 2019: Cuckoos arrived safely - and one is still calling in July. ✯ The turtledove have safely arrived from their perilous migration. You'll hear their distinctive purring and may be lucky enough see them too. ✯ On warmer nights, the Natterjack toads call. ✯ This is the only part of the east coast of England where the sun sets over the sea, providing lovely views in both summer and winter. Our favourite places to see the sunset are a stroll up the coastal path to Gore Point, or a few minutes over the golf course to a seat on the top of dunes.     Allotment Cottage is a holiday home in the coastal village of Old Hunstanton, Norfolk. Just a five-minute walk from the sea - in fact, you can see it from the property’s upstairs windows – it’s cosy, quiet and ideal whether you’re looking for a base to explore the long sandy beaches of the north Norfolk coast, or have children and want to make the most of Hunstanton’s nearby arcades and funfair.
    On the ground floor: Kitchen - Free standing kitchen with workbench sink & storage , little larder , table & chairs , appliances include gas oven and hob, kettle, toaster, fridge/freezer. Cookery books too . Bathroom - Big family bathroom with bath, shower over, WC & wash hand basin – this is also where you’ll find the washing machine. Reading room - Quiet sofa spot with accompanying book case full of some great reads & telephone. View of back garden . Conservatory - Settle into comfy wicker chairs (perfect for sitting in and looking out over the allotment) and the home of our bucket and spade stash. Garden - The private garden – complete with wooden picnic bench , great back steps, shed with more beach stuff in mature borders & trees - backs on to a well-maintained allotment patch (in summer it's not unusual for allotmenters to hand you a bunch of runner beans over the fence). The allotments also neighbour a newly renovated children’s play park, a one minute walk away. Master bedroom - Double bed with night lights, mirror and dressing table – the hairdryer’s in the top drawer! Selection of books & phone charger. Children’s bedroom - One set of bunk beds, drawers, and quite a collection of toys & a very good mini library & story chair . Door ruler if you’d like to add your height :) First floor: Living room/ Double bedroom - This used to be the loft space but is now divided into two – at one end a double bed and dressing table, at the other, a three-piece sofa, plus sofa bed and TV (including Netflix). Chess table , record player & more cool books .
    The cottage is on Sea Lane in Old Hunstanton, and is a stones throw from the beach. Turn right out of the cottage door and continue down the lane, past the lfeboat station and you'll be onto Old Hunstanton beach which offers uninterrupted views across the Wash, and direct walks into Hunstanton itself. You can see The Lodge pub and restaurant from the cottages front door - its' a newly renovated pub which recently won the Best Pub in Norfolk award from a lifestyle blog. Further down Sea Lane, there is the Ancient Mariner pub which offers a more cosy atmosphere around the fire, along with the Le Strange hotel which has a number of bar and restaurant options. Further along the main road but no more than 3 minutes walk away is the Neptune, a Michelin starred restaurant. You'll need to book in advance and hope to get a table but it's reasonably priced for excellend quality food. Keep going and you'll come to the Caley Hall Hotel which again has bar and restaurant. Continue through the village and you'll come to St Marys Church and the village pond. 50 yards from the cottage is a newly refurbished childrens playground.

Tucked away on a private road, it has a lovely peaceful position, and yet is still right in the centre of the village. The apartment is very well appointed and equipped and is a perfect base for a traditional ‘bucket and spade’ holiday. Within five minutes walking distance you have everything you need for a family holiday, including a beach café for breakfast, a family pub for lunch and a Michelin star restaurant for dinner! Keen golfers have the Championship links course five minutes away (even carrying clubs!). All on one floor, the apartment is suitable for guests with limited mobility. Nestled in the heart of this quiet village opposite the pub which serves good food and only a short 20 minute stroll across the golf course to the sandy beach, Piper Cottage is fabulously located and filled with original beams, thick stone walls and a wood burning stove. Step inside and you're guaranteed to fall in love almost immediately. The owner, who is an interior designer, has styled the property carefully using a palette of soft greys and blues, which reflects the coastal location and little touches make this place very special whatever time of year you choose to visit. Walk into the living space and take a seat on the soft sofa or one of the easy chairs. With dining space for four, you can look forward to supper over a glass of wine or simply write postcards home. Off the sitting room you'll find a beamed kitchen with modern painted units, granite worktops and a Butlers sink which blends perfectly with the interior of the cottage. Perfectly formed and well-equipped, you'll find everything you need to cook up a treat, using locally caught seafood and shell fish and some fabulous local produce, all available locally within a five mile radius. Climb the Norfolk winder staircase to the first floor where you’ll discover the first of the two beautiful bedrooms; a stunning king-size bedroom with quality linens, soft feather pillows, duvets and soft furnishings. Next door you'll find a super shower room and a separate WC. Up a further winder staircase you'll find the twin bedroom which is located on the second floor. Just around a five minute walk to the beach and two minutes to local shops, Ladybird Cottage is a great base for families looking to enjoy a traditional seaside holiday with local beaches and fun places to visit including the popular Sea Life Centre, Fun Fair or you can take a trip to see the seals aboard the Wash Monster! Just a couple of miles along the beach is Old Hunstanton with beautiful sand dunes and a beach which stretches away into the distance. This is a fabulous place for all the family to enjoy. Dine in the pretty garden room with its feature lantern light and open up the french doors on warmer days onto the pretty rear garden. A traditional Norfolk winder staircase leads you up to two pretty bedrooms, both beautifully styled with sumptuous French linens to ensure a good night’s sleep. Upstairs you will also find the bathroom with a corner shower, contemporary freestanding bath and stone wash basin. Although chock-full of character, this little abode with keep you as warm as toast even in the coldest of winter months as all the windows are double-glazed.     Scalp Cottage (just in case you are wondering, a scalp is a beach sand formation!) is a single-storey chalet situated just minutes from the beach and saltmarsh at Holme-next-the-Sea. Hidden away off the private road leading to Holme Dunes Nature Reserve. Scalp Cottage is one of three similar properties at the end of an un-made driveway. It has three bedrooms, two with double beds and one single (with trundle bed beneath), a family bathroom, sitting room with dining area and separate kitchen. This means the cottage can offer very flexible accommodation for both couples and families. Should you require the 'sleeping six' option, please request on booking. The property welcomes dogs and the garden to the rear is completely enclosed and secure, so both children and dogs can play safely.     Tanholt is a detached bungalow located on a private road which leads to the NWT Reserve. It has a wonderful, large garden to the rear which is fully enclosed, perfect for dogs and children. At the bottom of the garden is a private gated access to the marsh. You can literally walk for miles from your doorstep here.
