“The hotel has been run by the same family for generations. Really good French food and a legendary eat all you want dessert buffet. In the summer you get free access to their pool and clay tennis court if you have lunch there - definitely worth doing.”

Natural Feature
“The 30 minute hike, easy (you can even reach it by car). The vibe, unspoiled. The waterfall, mighty. The food, good golly! An omelette, coffee and pie at the end right in front of the waterfall makes this place one of our Chamonix faves. Open from June to October.”

“The Télésiege des Bossons operates from this place in the summer. It takes you up to a buvette (café at altitude) overlooking the Les Bossons glacier. From here you can continue on a longer hike up to La Pyramide - the original starting point for the first alpinists to climb Mont Blanc. There is an exhibit about the glacier itself (how it's changed over the years) and about the two planes which crashed into the glacier in the 1940s. The Les Bossons glacier comes all the way down from Mont Blanc at 4810m. ”
