What a wonderful place to stay at, the host was amazing, very responsive and caring. She told us that there was issues with the electricity (solar) but we had no issues at all. Our little place had everything lovely view, well stocked with everything from the kitchen to the braai area. The host really thought of everything even mosquito replant. We had such an amazing time. If you looking for something not to far from Jhb but still want to feel like you in the bush this is the perfect place.

Very peaceful area. The rooms were clean and the host is friendly. The views are stunning and the pool is great. Very affordable and we had an amazing time.

Loved the place, so peaceful, set far away from the city noise ... Nikki, the host was friendly, very fast when it came to responding... I am even planning my next trip to go back there 🤣(I feel like my time there was so short ), totally enjoyed the place

Wonderful place to stay, secluded from the rat race of the city. Been here before, and would go back again in a heart beat! Great for a family or couple to have a special retreat in nature :)

A group of friends and I stayed at Jackal Hill for a couple days and it was fantastic! We had the whole property to ourselves so it felt very private and we did not have to worry about bothering anyone. Stacey's communication was brilliant - she responded to my messages well in time and was always so friendly. Melody and Joseph were on the property and were ever so helpful. We had to call Melody a bunch of times and she always responded and helped where she could. There were definitively flies, but you just have to keep the place clean of food waste which is what attracts them. Unfortunately, we did have an issue with bats occupying one of the chalets which we subsequently couldn't really use, so don't forget to close your windows before dark. Wonderful place, serene, beautiful, calm long walks, and a fantastic host, agent, and owner!
