The Chalet will be clean, spacious and convenient to everything available in this beautiful environment. You will have a generous view of our estuary and sandhills to the front. Then as the property backs on to a farm there is a very strong rural feel, with wide views of Bream Tail Farm and the Brynderwyn hills. Trek the Goldschmidt track to the beach from the top end of Cullen St or 25 minutes walk by road. The estuary walk is about 10 minutes via the shortcut track halfway down the road.

Affordable peace, quiet and privacy is our aim (1 night stays available most days). The parking area is not situated at the cabin so sleeping in vehicles can only be done so at separate ends of the property. Safe ample parking available on site.

The Annex - self contained unit .

The Annex is on a small farmlet, 6 km south of Whangarei, with harbour views. It was a sleepout, built in the 1980's, separate, but next to the main house. It has two bedrooms. There is a double bed and two singles plus a day bed in the living area. The living/ dining area, has a wood fire. There is a small shower room and separate toilet. It is situated about 100 mtr off SH1, so there can be road noise. There are no streetlights and it can be very dark if you arrive after sundown.

The open plan lounge and kitchen has large windows and doors that allow maximum light and airflow, while the doors open onto a sun drenched deck with gas BBQ and outdoor setting. Inside the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need, including fridge/freezer, microwave, cooktop, electric frypan and dishwasher.
