Excellent host and the backyard is very nice for outdoor meals. The walk to the beach is no more than 10 minutes, a nice bakery on the way to the beach. The river that is right next to the property is very quiet. The train tracks are right next to the house(train runs every 10 minutes) but the host has double windows in all rooms to lower the sound tremendously. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay as the other 3 guest parties were a joy to converse with in the backyard. Two things to consider for your stay: 1.) Can you handle the train noise? every 10 minutes. 2.) Ask about bathroom size picture of the room you're renting. That backyard was worth it for me. like a mini arboretum.

House was clean, hosts were friendly. There were a lot of things to do. Everything was better than in the photos and as we expected. We had a great time there.

Agita was very welcoming, giving me some fruit and veg she'd just picked from her garden, and helped me out with the Jurmala fee - you need to pay to pass through Jurmala which will be an unexpected thing for most people. It was a stop-off point for me for a night, so I can't really say how it works if you're exploring Jurmala.

Cosy, clean, quiet place. There was everything for living. Very satisfied with our stay.

We are extremely happy with everything ❤️ Place is definitely soo much better than pictures could show!! Place is amazing! Hosts are very helpful, nice and quick to communicate!! To be fare everything was so good that we didn't need any extra response!! But when needed, it was there! Little touches, such as fresh flowers on fireplace, where very thought full. We do believe that location also is very good! Turaida and Sigulda at door step! Lots to see and explore there!!! Riga is not far at all ether!! We highly recommend to stay at this beautiful home, you are in country side but close enough to explore xxx Thank you very much to our hosts for our comfortable and very enjoyable stay!!! Thanks to the host! The place is clean, the house is spacious, and the sauna is great. They were also very helpful and responsive. I recommend visiting, especially in the summer season.

We absolutely loved this place! House looks exactly as it is shown at the pictures and area is super calm and peaceful. We stayed there to do some bbq with friends and everyone liked it :)

Мы отдыхали в этом доме три дня с компанией друзей и остались в полном восторге! Дом светлый, чистый, очень уютный и со вкусом обустроенный. Расположение — отличное: рядом аэропорт и центр Юрмалы, при этом тихо и спокойно. Территория ухоженная, с красивым садом, мангалом и летней кухней — идеальное место для отдыха на свежем воздухе. Внутри есть всё необходимое: посуда, полотенца, туалетные и кухонные принадлежности, даже мелочи вроде ватных дисков и таблеток для посудомоечной машины — всё предусмотрено до мелочей. Бассейн теплый (24–25 градусов), сауна большая, ухоженная. Мы пользовались ей по два раза в день, а счет за воду и электричество приятно удивил — он оказался совсем небольшим. В доме прекрасная шумоизоляция — даже громкая музыка не мешает тем, кто отдыхает в другой комнате. Планировка очень удобная, никто никому не мешал, даже когда оставались гости. Akmeni Resort was amazing! It was very clean and cozy. Kitchen had all equipment for cooking and a big bonus was coffee machine, as we are big coffee lovers. Beds were big and very comfortable with extra pillows. Outside there was a BBQ and with extra cost we could use jacuzzi or sauna. Grownups had also comfy robes that were perfect after a jacuzzi. The place was perfect with kids, as all they did was having fun in pool or in jacuzzi, or if they had a break from swimming, they could play in the playground or just watch local squirrels play and eat in their cage. Even though there are three other rentals on the spot, it was quite peaceful and we could enjoy sound of crickets in the evening. We really loved this place!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay. The place was even more beautiful than the pictures showed, and it exceeded all our expectations. The apartment was immaculate, spacious, and beautifully designed — truly a home away from home. The only thing to note is that a car is essential, as you can’t really do much without one. But apart from that, we had an amazing time and would highly recommend this beautiful house!

I stayed for a month, and found this place very well suited for a long stay. There is so much natural light, and an outlook of tree tops, which I appreciated. There was very little noise in the building. The apartment is very well designed and very well equipped. The area is sububurban and residential, but well connected by bus routes to the city centre and elsewhere. There is a supermarket within a few minutes' walk, and a large shopping mall about 20 minutes' walk away. I expect there is a bus, but I enjoy walking. Kris, the host, was incredibly responsive on the rare occasions that I needed to contact him. Highly recommended.

We have really enjoyed our stay at Ilja’s property. He welcomed us upon arrival and gave a very detailed overview of the flat and amenities. A very pleasant and friendly host. Surrounding area has a few local shops and a big shopping mall walkable distance away. The view from the window is mesmerising overlooking the forest. Would definitely recommend staying at Ilja’s property and will definitely stay again

We stayed in Vladislavs' place in winter, so we really enjoyed having a sauna. Other than that I must remark the tranquility of the neighbourhood, it is a good place to rest and the house is cozy. In addition, Vladislavs is really responsive and attentive to help you in anything you need. Recommended place to stay

Everything was as advertised. Ruta responded very quickly, including when we had to contact her about something on a Saturday night. There is a transit stop right outside, which provides easy access to the city center and a direct (albeit infrequent) bus to Mežaparks. The place is also conveniently located between the city center and the Ethnographic Open-Air Museum.

Dejlig lille lejlighed, som ligger i gå afstand fra centrum, ca 20 - 30 minutter, men også med mange busforbindelser. Der er alt hvad man skal bruge til både kortere og længere ophold, dog ikke en ovn, men det kan man fint leve uden. Derudover er der meget stille i selve lejligheden, man bliver ikke forstyret af naboer eller vejen . Lada er meget flink og hjælpsom, og svarer hurtigt på alle beskeder. Og det er især en fin lejlighed hvis man rejser med sin lille hund, da der ligger et par parker i nærheden. Området er også meget roligt, med lidt butikker og cafeer. Det er en god lille budgetvenlig lejlighed i udkantet af Rigas Centrum.
